The bavarian entrepreneur Theo Straub founded Solare Brücke e.V. in 1992.  His main idea was to contribute to balancing global inequalities and to promote the dissemintation of renrewable energies. The name Solare Brücke indicates, that not only technological and economic aspects play a role. "To build a bridge" between people is a very important part of our work.
For many years Theo Straub was the president of Solare Brücke e.V..He has shaped the work of the association in a very significant way. Even now that he is no longer an active member of the board of directors, he is always ready to give his valid support in form of ideas and adivce.
